A Lie Is Without Question A Very Dangerous Thing

Everybody has a told a lie once or twice. A lie is anything that isn’t the truth. Taking away a few pounds on your driver’s license, permitting people to believe you are a few years younger, or keeping the whole truth for someone are all lies. White lies may make us feel better and keep us from hurting others, but the damage is all in the eyes.

Lying hurts and damages the eyes irregardless how tiny the lie may be. Lying puts strain on the eyes and keeps them from properly working. For one, you have to make up the lie and then recollect all the fine points so you don’t get trapped. This added focus and strain on the eyes creates damage.

A retinoscope is what the qualified professionals make use of to establish who is lying to them. The retinoscope works better than a polygraph test because the eyes don’t lie, even if you do. The retinoscope tests for refraction, the eyes’ capacity to focus on light. A lie alters how the eyes see and how they respond to light.

Somebody who lies on a daily basis may essentially commence to accept as true their own lies, but the mind nevertheless is aware the truth. The mind also has a peculiar way of deciphering its own reality, particularly if you have trained yourself to accept as true your lies. Now, you may begin to hear things you want to hear twisting the truth to fit your own reality. Hearing what you want may bring about some major problems and some major arguments.

Strain on the eyes may cause you to lose focus and concentration. Your conversations with other people won’t go well since you will be unable to hear what they are really saying. Arguments will be complicated as your mind is powerless to deal with the truth or it can’t take in something off-putting.

If you are feeling strain and misinterpreting what other’s are saying, it’s time to step back and regain the focus. Take a few minutes to relax and get your usual thought progression back to normal. If you are strained, you aren’t giving enough in the conversation and it will look one sided to the other person. Step back, relax, and then rejoin the exchange when you can actually give yourself entirely and truthfully.

Culture Divide

When Kulsoom Abdullah found CrossFit Atlanta several years ago, it was her desire to learn the Olympic lifts that brought her there.

“I had the drive. I really wanted to learn lifting, and I really wanted to go do it,” she says.

She either ignored the stares or tried to be assertive and talk to people. But not all women are like that, notes Abdullah, who last year became the first woman to lift in sanctioned U.S. Olympic-weightlifting competitions while wearing traditional Muslim dress covering the head, arms and legs.

That’s why it’s important to reach out and be encouraging to women of all cultural and religious backgrounds, she says.

“Maybe go out to communities and try to encourage them to do it because a lot of times … they just don’t have that initial motivation or encouragement, and I think that would definitely … help the CrossFit sport to grow.”

In general, it’s always going to be intimidating for women to walk into a gym “because when they see the workouts and they see what people do, they still don’t think that it’s something that they can do,” Abdullah says. “It’s always hard for me to convince even women that I know personally to go and do this kind of stuff.”

Lose Weight Fast: How to Drop the Baby Fat

When a woman is pregnant, the body stores fat around her belly and hips as this is natural. Every woman’s body does this so it can feed the child growing in the womb. There is truth in the saying, you are eating for two. Despite the fact that you’re eating a well balanced diet, exercising and following your doctor’s orders to the letter, you will gain fat mass during pregnancy but you can burn it.

Here are some tips to help you lose weight fast after the baby is born. Most of your extra fat will be in the belly area, but don’t do crunches every day. That may actually be counterproductive according to latest studies, while if it’s done once a week you’ll get tight and sexy tummy. Squeeze your shoulder blades together, and suck your stomach in, like tufting a cushion. Imagine someone has a thread attached to your belly button, and is pulling it towards your back. Do this as often as you can during the day and while you are standing to change a diaper, or in line at a store. Do it at red lights, or at work every time you answer the phone and make it a habit. This will also help support your spinal column and relieve back pains.

Don’t balance your baby on your hip. Hold him or her in front of you using both of your arms or use a papoose. That will keep your stomach from bulging oddly off to the side. This is a tip from pilates experts. Use the baby as a weight resistance by straightening your posture and pushing your belly back against your spine while squeezing your buttocks. You won’t be able to hold your child very long this way but it will also give the baby a sense of comfort becoming close to your heart instead of hanging on your hip.

You will make quicker progress if you are breast feeding. It has been proven that women who breast feed lose the weight fast, sometimes twice as fast than those who do not. If your baby cannot breast feed, donate your milk to neonatal units. They can give you the guidelines.

Eat well balanced meals after the birth for you and your baby’s health, even if you cannot breastfeed. It takes lots of energy to take care of newborns especially if you are working as well. Eat lots of protein, whole grains, vegetables and fruits in your diet instead of sugary and salty snacks. It will give you more energy, experience less depression, and you’ll get better use of those precious moments of sleep before the next feeding.
