I will take some time to develop muscle. That’s just the way it is. You will need to “convince” you body that it needs to develop muscle. Our bodies are pretty lazy. If it doesn’t believe that something is necessary for survival, it skips it. That’s why it needs to be convinced that muscle is essential for its survival.
When working out, it’s necessary to take you body to the edge of it’s abilities (without pushing it, of course) for it to be convinced it needs to develop more muscle. The feeling of pain is the muscle tearing. Your body’s muscle fibers will repair the damage that was done during the workout. That will happen during rest. As a result, your gain muscles.
Your food also plays an important role. You need to eat right so your body can produce muscle fiber.
This is not the time to go for a low-carb diet. That’s just going to defeat the purpose of exercising to build muscles in the first place. Your diet needs to be a well balanced one that contains carbs as well as protein. Protein is essential to building your muscle.
