Lend America Scores Victory

In a lawsuit filed by the U.S. government, Lend America is accused of abusing its authority under the Federal Housing Administration’s Direct Endorsement Program. But the company fired back with its own filing outling a number of changes made to its organizational structure, business practices and support functions since the end of last year. The filing was an apparent success, with the company announcing that "the court denied the government’s request for an order prohibiting Lend America from originating FHA insured loans."
