Deterioration Continues at Freddie

Third-quarter purchases and issuances at Freddie Mac were down by more than a quarter from the second quarter, according to monthly operational data released by the company. During just September, volume fell by nearly a third. Residential delinquency, meanwhile, was up 20 basis points last month. Mulifamily delinquency was up a more moderate 1 basis point.
