COFI Sinks to Record Low

The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco reported that the cost of funds index fell 14 basis points from August to September. Compared to a year earlier, COFI was 150 BPS worse. COFI has never been this low based on FHLB data dating back to July 1981 — the oldest available data.
