Can a someone under 18 make money blogging?
I wanted to put advertisments on my blog so i was signing up for adsense and it said you have to be 18 to do that. so is there any other way? would they even know that im not 18?
David Lathan answers:
I dont think you can. I was trying to do google adsense too. I also found out that some websites pay you money to write articles. I tried associated content and i made an account with my real birth year, and it was approved. But then on inbox in associated content, i got this offer that said that i can get $10 for 10 articles if i wrote them all in that week or something. But then it said that if i had to get paid, i need to be over 18. Which is weird and stupid and dumb
but idk. Because i read an article in the Seventeen magazine that this girl bought her mom a house when she was a junior in high school because of all the money she made on google adsense. And she is not even 18. Maybe she used a false birthday. She was a millionare !!!

How to make money blogging?
I have been blogging for more than three months and want to start earning money from it like others do. Could anyone give me ideas how to start making money with blogs?
David Lathan answers:
If your goal is to make money blogging, there’s a couple of things you need to know. 1st off: most successful bloggers (or those, I should say, that have successfully monetized) spend their first few months (in some cases years) building up an email list through a service like aweber (if you’re not familiar with it, get familiar with it-quick!) This list is the bread and butter of a successful blogger. There are some other methods of monetization out there like google adwords and selling banners, but the tried and true formula is to create your own products (i.e. Ebooks, reports, etc) or sell the work of others through affiliate programs to your email list. The key is to have a very well defined niche and nurture a relationship with your readers where you provide them with valuable free info on a regular basis. Check out David Risley, Matt Wolfe and Eben Pagen. Hope this helps…

Nancy asks…
Make money blogging article writing or eBay?
Okay I’m 16 and want to make money online but don’t know which option I should go for. Bear in mind I can’t use adsense because of my age an I also don’t want to pay tax because it seems like a lot of hassle. My aim is to earn £30 a week if possible. Also I will work at it 1-2 hours every other day and every friday Saturday and Sunday.
David Lathan answers:
If you are good at writing then article writing is the way to go. Bloggers are always looking for fresh content for their sites so article writes are in high demand. The problem with Ebay is that you need a physical product to sell. So unless you have access to a drop shipper or you make your own product this option is not for you.

Mark asks…
how can i make money blogging?
i’m out of work for a few weeks, and really strapped for cash. i’d like to make money on my writing. i recently visited south africa, and i would like to write about my experiences there. this could be an opportunity to hone my skills and make some cash while i’m at it… so how would i go about making it happen? i should mention i’m a computer/internet retard. my skills are pretty much rudimentary. would i need to expand those skills, and if so… how?
also, how long would it take for the money to start coming in?
David Lathan answers:
By letting old men pleasure themselves to your soft core pornography.
Beyond that not a lot of people make money blogging. Oh by the way, you’d have blogged about South Africa, while in South Africa. The idea is that it is the equivalent of a diary, not a memoir of your time there. You don’t just label everything you write a blog. While some people blogging get paid, it is a rarity.
Beyond that, why would anyone really care about your travels? Are you fascinating somehow (see soft core pornography above)? Essentially the blogging that pays is by getting a large number of people to come read your work, which will have ads next to it. You’d then get paid by those advertisers or the site that manages the advertisers.
Nobody is just going to read your work and proclaim, “this is great, cut her a check.” You’d have to show you can draw an audience.
